Client News LPK NAMES PHIL BEST CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER March 1, 2010 Newly Created Role Puts Emphasis on Change Management CINCINNATI, OH –March 1, 2010– LPK, the international brand design agency, has named Phil Best, to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Best provides management and financial oversight, as well as human resources and general operations oversight, with a focus on the future state of the LPK business model. Best has served on LPK’s board of directors for six years. Under his leadership, Best has overseen the expansion of LPK Trends, a practice that focuses on trends synthesis and scenario planning for future states, applicable to consumer packaged good and retail clients. “Phil is truly a visionary force in our company. Today’s economic climate continues to prove challenging and that’s where Phil’s expertise proves critical to LPK’s long-term success,” said Jerry Kathman, president and CEO, LPK. “And as we continue to reinvent ourselves to be even more relevant to the clients we serve, Phil’s unique leadership style and clear understanding of change management will prove essential,” Kathman continued. Mr. Best spent the majority of his career at Procter & Gamble building the global design organization at P&G and establishing design as one of P&G’s core competencies.
