LAROSA’S MOUNT WASHINGTON PIZZERIA TO RELOCATE AND REOPEN AS NEW LAROSA’S TAPHOUSE

A Move into Big Ash Brewing at Skytop Pavilion Unites Beloved Neighborhood Pizzeria with Local Craft Beer in a Taproom Space Designed for Gathering

CINCINNATI, OHIO – December 17, 2025 – After serving Guests in the same downtown Mount Washington location for more than 40 years, LaRosa’s Mount Washington pizzeria is expanding and relocating to Skytop Pavilion - into the existing Big Ash Brewing space at 5230 Beechmont Avenue - and re-opening as LaRosa’s Taphouse. The transformation and relocation mark a significant milestone for LaRosa’s in the Mount Washington/Anderson Township community, bringing together the beloved neighborhood pizzeria with a self-serve taproom experience featuring award-winning local beers Guests already know and love.

Set to open in mid-to-late February, LaRosa’s Taphouse is designed to better serve the Mount Washington and Anderson Township communities. The updated space will be more than double the size of the current Mount Washington pizzeria, featuring a full dining room/beer hall with seating for 100. Additionally there’s an outdoor beer garden with live music area and enclosed, dog-friendly four-season patio with total seating for 210, and self-serve tap system offering a wide selection of Big Ash Brewing craft beers, wine and hard seltzers on tap. The location will also include a brand new Drive-Up Pick-Up window where Guests can use LaRosa’s app or online ordering to order and pay for a meal, then pick up at the window without ever leaving their vehicle, offering more convenient ways for Guests to enjoy their favorite LaRosa’s meals on the go.

“This new Taphouse is all about giving our Guests more of what they already love,” said Nick Fucito, LaRosa’s Mount Washington franchise owner. “While the location may be new, the heart of LaRosa’s hasn’t changed. We’ve served Mount Washington for more than four decades, and this expansion and relocation is our way of honoring our loyalty to our Guests. We can’t wait to welcome families, friends and even pups into a larger, more comfortable space that still feels like home,” he continued. The LaRosa’s Taphouse at Skytop Pavilion also offers more accessible, convenient parking, an improvement over the Mount Washington pizzeria location where street parking can be challenging for Guests.

Big Ash Brewing owners Brian and Stephanie Sanders see this as a meaningful opportunity to offer their loyal customers something local and crafted with pride. “Our passion for brewing has always been rooted in community,” said Brian Sanders. “Partnering with LaRosa’s gives us the opportunity to pair our beer with a Cincinnati institution—bringing together great local brews and the flavors families in this community have grown up with, right here in Anderson and Mount Washington,” he continued.

Big Ash Brewing will remain open during the renovation period. Beginning today and until the new LaRosa’s Taphouse opens, Big Ash Guests can enjoy select LaRosa’s favorites from a limited menu delivered from the Mount Washington Pizzeria to Big Ash Brewing.

The collaboration reflects more than a shared love of great pizza and beer; it represents a reinvestment in the community that shaped both ownership teams. This shared hometown pride fuels their commitment to the community that has supported both businesses for years.

In an evolving restaurant landscape, LaRosa’s remains focused on what matters most - great food at a good value, served with genuine hospitality. The opening of the new LaRosa’s Taphouse is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to serving its Guests’ evolving needs, while staying true to the hospitality that has made LaRosa’s a favorite for over 70 years.
