CINCINNATI ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED ANNOUNCES BRAILLE ALE RELEASE PARTY WITH WEST SIDE BREWING

Event & Sales of Braille Ale to Benefit CABVI’s Services to Adapt to Vision Loss

Cincinnati, OH June 17, 2025Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) and West Side Brewing announce the launch of its sixth annual Braille Ale®. CABVI will unveil the limited-edition Raspberry Gose at West Side Brewing on June 26. The special edition Braille Ale® Raspberry Gose can features braille and was created to spark conversation and awareness around inclusivity and accessibility for those who are blind or visually impaired. The West Side Brewing braille beer can was one of the first cans in the United States to include braille for those who are visually impairedA portion of all Raspberry Gose sales of 4-packs or on tap at West Side Brewing will support CABVI’s services to help individuals adapt to vision loss.

Braille Ale Raspberry Gose is a light sour ale complimented by coriander and raspberry flavors. The launch event at West Side Brewing, 3044 Harrison Avenue, on Thursday June 26 from 5-7pm, will feature Catch-a Fire Pizza specials, as well as a Blindfolded Beer Tasting, Blindfolded Beer Stacking, and the Mystery Touch Game (donations appreciated but not required). Other activities will include a Photobooth and Split the Pot, and will be hosted by Q102’s Natalie Jones of the Roy, Nat and Freddy Mac show.
