CELEBRATING 40 YEARS IN MT. WASHINGTON, LAROSA’S PREPARES FOR NEXT CHAPTER
Beloved Neighborhood Pizzeria Will Close This Sunday and Reopen in Mid-March as LaRosa’s Taphouse at Skytop Pavilion
CINCINNATI, OHIO – February 28, 2026 – After serving Guests in the same downtown Mt. Washington location for more than 40 years, LaRosa’s Mt. Washington pizzeria, located at 2111 Beechmont Avenue, last day of business will be Sunday, March 1, 2026. LaRosa’s Mt. Washington pizzeria will operate during normal business hours that day, 11am-10pm. The pizzeria is set to reopen in mid-March as LaRosa’s Taphouse in the existing Big Ash Brewing space at Skytop Pavilion.
“We’re incredibly thankful to have been such a core part of the Mt. Washington community for so long. We created so many strong relationships with Mt. Washington neighbors and hope they’ll continue to visit us just down the hill at LaRosa’s Taphouse,” said Nick Fucito, LaRosa’s Mt. Washington franchise owner. “While the address is changing, our commitment to our Guests remains unchanged. We’re excited to welcome everyone and give our Guests more of what they love in a bigger, more comfortable space,” he continued.
Prior to the opening of LaRosa’s Taphouse, Mt. Washington Guests are encouraged to order their LaRosa’s favorites from the Anderson Township LaRosa’s pizzeria, which will temporarily deliver to the Mount Washington area previously served by the Beechmont Avenue location. LaRosa’s Gift Cards or Buddy Cards purchased at Mt. Washington LaRosa’s can be redeemed at any other LaRosa’s pizzeria in Greater Cincinnati/Northen Kentucky.
Set to open in mid-March, LaRosa’s Taphouse is designed to better serve the Mt. Washington and Anderson Township communities, featuring a full dining room/beer hall with seating for 100, 14 big screen TVs, outdoor beer garden with live music area, an enclosed, dog-friendly four-season patio with total seating for 210, and a self-serve tap system offering a selection of Big Ash Brewing craft beers, wine and hard seltzers. The restaurant will also include a new Drive-Up Pick-Up window where Guests can use LaRosa’s app or online ordering to order and pay for a meal, then pick up at the window without ever leaving their vehicle, offering more convenient ways for Guests to enjoy their favorite LaRosa’s meals on the go.
