2026 CINCINNATI CONCOURS D’ELEGANCE BEST OF SHOW WINNERS
100 Years of Mercedes-Benz Featured Marque at 48th Annual Event
CINCINNATI, OH – June 17, 2026 — The 48th Annual Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance, presented by Barchetta Charitable Fund, a premier automotive showcase featuring North America’s finest collector automobiles and motorcycles, occurred on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Cincinnati’s historic Ault Park. With over 200 cars and motorcycles on display, the internationally recognized automotive event celebrated style and performance with the featured theme ‘100 Years of Mercedes-Benz’. The event also featured special display classes, including a Tribute to the cars featured in the movies “The Fast and the Furious”TM and “Cars”TM, and Turbo Era Cars (1973-1993). Best of Show winners were awarded during a drive-through ceremony:
- William K. Victor Best of Show Concours d’Elegance Award went to a 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K Spezial Roadster owned by Dana & Patti Mecum of Geneva Lake, Wisconsin
- Roy O. Sweeney Best of Show Esprit de Sport Award went to a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe owned by the Jeff Wyler Automotive Family of Milford, Ohio
“The quality and rarity of automobiles at our 2026 concours were truly astounding. The fine examples of Mercedes-Benz in our show were all strong contenders, but the 540K and the 300SL Gullwing stood strongest”, noted Dave Sheehy, Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance Board Chairman and Car Selection Co-Chair. “The sweeping lines of the 540K and its place in automotive history are a true standout. The design of the 300 SL is iconic, and the Wyler version was absolutely pristine,” he continued.
Announcing the 2027 Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance Weekend of Events
The featured theme of the 49th annual Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance is ‘Supercars through the Ages’, celebrating performance and exclusivity -- and will showcase legendary vehicles that have pushed the boundaries of speed and style throughout their eras. Special displays that will enhance the show include:
- 125th anniversary of Cadillac
- Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) vehicles spotlight
- A tribute to Harley-Davidson’s enduring legacy
The 2027 weekend will commence with two events on Saturday, June 12, 2027 – The Countryside Driving Tour and the Hangar Party. The 49th annual Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance at Ault Park will occur on Sunday, June 13, 2027. The call for nominations for the 2027 concours will launch this September.
