AVIATRA ACCELERATORS SHOWCASES NEW RETAIL INCUBATOR AT WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS CRAWL

Covington Event Will Feature More Than Thirty Women-Owned Businesses and Introduce Innovative Retail Marketplace Concept

CINCINNATI, OH – April 7, 2026 – Aviatra Accelerators, a nonprofit supporting women entrepreneurs across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky through education, connections and resources, will showcase a new retail marketplace during its Women-Owned Business Crawl (WOB Crawl) in Covington’s Downtown and MainStrasse neighborhoods on Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature more than thirty women-owned businesses - from retail shops to bars, restaurants, and service providers - across Covington’s thriving small business community, including Maki Mono, Golden Gelato, Stoney’s Etc!, The Green Door, Dice on Draft, and Purple Paisley Local Artisan Shop, among others.

Also featured on the Crawl is the new Aviatra retail incubator - Muse Boutiques - a marketplace designed to meet the evolving needs of women entrepreneurs in retail. Spotlighting women-owned businesses operating within a shared space at below-market rent, the model provides a lower-risk opportunity to test products and retail concepts over a 9-month period. Each business maintains its own branded presence while benefiting from shared staffing and operational efficiencies.

“There is an incredible concentration of women-owned businesses in Covington, making it the ideal destination for a fun, walkable experience centered around eating, drinking and shopping,” said Jill Morenz, CEO of Aviatra Accelerators. “From vibrant bars and restaurants to unique shops and service providers – and now a variety of emerging women-owned retail brands at our retail incubator – the WOB Crawl is the perfect opportunity for attendees to explore and support our dynamic women-owned business community,” she continued.

The Women-Owned Business Crawl is a 2.5-mile walkable route; attendees begin by checking in at Aviatra Accelerators, located at 114 W. Pike St., Covington, KY, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each $20 ticket includes a map of participating businesses, a wristband granting access to exclusive discounts at each location for the entire day and evening, as well as entry into a raffle for various prizes donated by the women business owners. Attendees can also explore emerging women-owned retail brands in a shared, experiential shopping environment at the check-in location.

Sponsors who understand the value of supporting women-owned businesses in Covington include Ramona Rechtin of Mueller Financial, ECDI Women's Business Center and City of Covington Economic Development. For more information and to purchase tickets in advance, visit https://wobcrawl.com.
