CHRIS WOODSIDE ANNOUNCES WYOMING CITY COUNCIL RUN

Lifelong-Resident of City of Wyoming Focused on Wyoming’s Strongest Assets

CINCINNATI, OH– August 10, 2021–– The Hamilton County Board of Elections has accepted Chris Woodside’s application to run for Wyoming City Council in the November 2, 2021 general election.  Operating under the Council-Manager form of government with a governing body of six volunteer Council members and one volunteer Mayor, all Wyoming City Council seats expire in November with new two-year terms beginning December 1, 2021.

As an independent-minded person, Chris’s intention is to be guided by practical decisions driven by his love for the Wyoming community, balanced with the thoughts and opinions of his fellow residents.   Chris is passionate about enhancing Wyoming’s reputation as one of the best cities in Ohio. “I have a genuine love for the Wyoming community.  I want what we all want – to make Wyoming an event better place to live, work and play – by capitalizing on Wyoming’s history, our phenomenal schools, vibrant business district and beautiful homes”, noted Chris Woodside, Candidate for Wyoming City Council. “The residents of Wyoming are dedicated and engaged – they are truly Wyoming’s biggest asset.  I want to hear their ideas, opinions and be an objective voice to create progress and change, without an agenda”, he continued. Chris has received tremendous support from Wyoming residents and has gained vast insights over the last year though person-to-person conversations in Wyoming homes, Wyoming parks, Wyoming restaurants and Wyoming businesses.

Chris will rely heavily on data-driven insights coupled with anecdotal and personal insights from Wyoming residents and business owners. In the coming weeks, Chris will announce a schedule of neighborhood events designed to listen and create meaningful dialogue with the community-at-large about their concerns, interests and desires.  Mr. Woodside encourages all Wyoming residents to register to vote and to participate in the Fall City Council election, regardless of their party affiliation or political views, with the common goal of retaining what makes Wyoming special.

About Chris Woodside for Wyoming City Council

Chris Woodside is a lifelong City of Wyoming resident and the fifth generation of Woodsides residing in Wyoming. His parents have made Wyoming their home since for decades raising their family here.  Chris’s grandfather, a GE retiree, grew up in Wyoming.  A 1997 graduate of Wyoming High School, Chris and his wife Katie are raising four children in Wyoming; his three oldest children attend Wyoming schools and are active in sports. Chris is active in his children’s sports, coaching their football and basketball teams.  Chris is also actively involved in the Wyoming High School Alumni Association and the Wyoming School Foundation Board.
